  Do Your Own Research.

  there were several times when i was inside the congregation that i met up with a problem in my life and on mentioning it at a group i would be told to do my own research about it.. of course, they didn't mean for me to research worldly material for the answer but to use the wt indexes and look into the wt society magazines.. it was only when i started to do my own research outside of the wt that i began to see the limited scope of the society's magazines as all problems usually fell into the category of 1. read the bible, attend meetings, go out on the work, and pray; or 2. this isn't going to be fixed now but in the new world god will sort it out and the former things (what you are suffering from now) will not be called to mind.. i wonder how many people still in are struggling and are not being encouraged to research away from the organisation where they would receive practical and valuable advice?.

  JWs Using the system

  i have it on good authority from a friend living near warwick that many bethelites filed for covid-19 economic relief from the us govt.

  he said that one bethelite actually told him that they were being instructed to file some sort of income, not sure of the logistics of that with the vow of poverty and all, but if they did that then they would qualify for economic relief.

  basically getting thousands of dollars for free.

  Its so appalling and nauseatingly ironic.

  The Borg claims to take care of its members then kicks them out if they get injured, sick or older.

  Then they scam the system and take advantage of local government benefits,,,

  Then expect donations and hand-outs from its followers..I just dont know where to begin

  hard to believe, but it's true:watchtower december 15, 2008, pg.

  28 – “our coming to know "the truth‟ - the entire body of christian teachings that has become part of the bible - and adhering to it are essential for our salvation”.this is the same position of the roman catholic church.

  one of the pope’s titles is the vicar of christ.

  I totally concur. You see these plastic, painted faces at the meetings, a$$emblies and what not.

  Some fantasy promise of an Armageddon or paradise which is never going to happen. Meanwhile not looking after yourself financially or planning one's retirement.

  They mostly say the same thing, they were in it just to please people.

  “words or statements that are intentionally ambiguous or misleading,”[1].

  intended “to avoid answering a question clearly or to make someone believe something that is not true."[2].

  The word ''can''

  or the word ''may""

  Two words that carry sooooo much weight,,they're sooo overlooked by JW's.

  But it's right there in bold on the front cover of the Borg's literature. It just feels so poignant to me, or others who have long - since woken-up. Those two words are so heavy, but not given much thought as the JW sheeple peddle the Borg's literature.

  Right there in bold print on the front cover of the propaganda cover.

  I have to say that most Borg material is laden full of ''weasel'' words. Or the elipsis dot, dot, dot. Designed to manipulate.

  i thought i would never do this again, but a comment on this article made to look it up.

  not much knew but looking back at previous articles, the wts has ramped up on this topic since 2020...i see a correlation there.
